PotomacWave is currently looking for a Travel Management System Specialist to join our team supporting a Federal Client in Springfield, VA. This position provides support to travel system activities as they relate to the client's travel management system, which currently is Concur Government Edition (CGE).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide ConcurGov Travel Application System assistance
  • Conduct monthly testing of SAP Concur service updates and enhancements to travel system
  • Create/maintain LOA and routing lists
  • Coordinate ConcurGov training and system-related communications
  • Manage ConcurGov configuration modifications and release notifications to TSA
  • Collaborate with ConcurGov Help Desk, Travel Policy Team and the Federal Finance Center
  • Work with TSA Local Travel Administrators
  • Develop, review and maintain ISOPs
  • Review and establish TSA Travel Policy system setups using the Federal Travel Regulation (FTR and FAATP) and TSA Travel Policy Guidance
  • Conduct testing of travel interface enhancements to the financial system
  • Conduct application accessibility and functionality testing for enterprise-wide operating system upgrades and enhancements
  • Collaborate with FINCEN to establish user accounts and resolve financial system-related travel transaction issues
  • Serve as travel SME for the DHS Financial System Modernization project

Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of IT experience
  • Possess prior experience of providing functional support to a ConcurGov travel system
  • Must have strong communication skills to work with TSA travel stakeholders, travel system vendor, and SSP to address technical and nontechnical travel related issues
  • Possess core federal financial system knowledge and financial system integration experience
    • Possess knowledge of travel policy aligned with Federal Travel Regulation
